He was the son of Heinrich Christian Conrad Wilhelm Piepho and Sophie Dorothe Droste.
Note1911He assumed responsibility of his father's farm in 1911. The farm had 40 morgen and a meadow. Nine morgen of land his father kept. He had to pay him adequate lease for it. There was also 1 1/2 morgen which belonged to the farm, but they had to pay a hereditary tenant lease on that. The livestock on the farm were 5 cows, 2 steers, 1 sow and 5 pigs. There were also several buildings, a cow stable with room for 6 animals, 4 pigsties with sheep stables and a calf and steer stable in the barn. Heinrich Piepho bought in October 1911, 2 horses from August Rabe so that he could take care of his agricultural chores much faaster. Also in 1911, there was the Foot and Mouth disease in the villiage. He also bought another electric motor for the chaffcuter which had been in existence since 1895. In 1913, he bought from Hecht-Gehle, 3 morgen of farmland. In 1916-1919 he bought a grasscutter with which he could also cut wheat, a ridgedrill, a 3 piece smoothroller, a 2 row plough, and 1 cultivator.

Note1931In 1931, he bought 5 1/2 morgen of pasturland from Fritz Reinshe. Fritz bought himself an estate in Hofrensen and sold his farm and his land in Kolenfeld. He offered his farm to Heinrich Piepho. He (Heinrich) showed interest because the farm was built very narrow and small, but again his father, who felt much connected to the homestead, did not give his consent. In 1932, Heinrich also bought a wheatstringer. In 1934, he bought 2 morgen of farmland from Hitzemann for which he paid lease before. Also in 1934, he bought a totalcleaner thresher. Birth*13 February 1851Heinrich Christian Conrad Wilhelm Piepho was born on 13 February 1851 at Wunstorf-Kolenfeld, Hannover, Lower Saxony, Germany.
He was the son of Conrad (Cord) Heinrich Piepho and Sophie Elinore Dorothe Wilhelmine Wilhelm.
Note*He was the founder of the farm (estate) since he was the only son of the shoemaker Cord (Conrad) Heinrich. According to the customs he should have become a shoemaker and taken over his father's workshop. But since he showed no interest at all in that trade and his parents couldn't convince him otherwise, he became a farmhand for Farmer Bremer in Lohnde for 4 years. After 4 years he quit his job and went to work for Farmer Grimschlin in Almhorst. He worked for him until 1871. At this farm he met his later wife Sophie Dorothe Droste from Seelze. She had a job there as a maidservant. Heinrich Christian Conrad Wilhelm became a soldier in 1871. After his tour of duty he took a job as a farmhand at Farmer Weident's place in Landringhausen. He returned to Kolenfeld in 1875.
Note1877In 1877, after his father died, He built two extra rooms onto the original house.
Marriage*20 July 1877Heinrich Christian Conrad Wilhelm Piepho married Sophie Dorothe Droste on 20 July 1877.
NoteHeinrich Piepho had 16 morgen of farmland which he inherited from his father. His sisters also worked on the farm. He bought 4 more morgen of farm land from Borges in 1878. In 1886 he bought 6 1/2 morgen of farmland from Busse which he divided with his brother-in-law Christof Scheibe. (Note: morgen is a unit of area equal to about .6309 acres. It is derived from the German word Morgen ("morning"). It represented the amount of land that could be plowed in a morning.)
Note1880In 1880, Heinrich Piepho built a stable onto the living quarters, and the laundryroom was moved toward the garden. He also had an oven built behind the livings quarters (used for baking bread). In 1885 he cultivated 4 morgen of woodland. In 1892, he built a barn across the street where he had some property (garden).
Note1900In 1900, he built the pigsties. With doing so, there was an argument with his neighbor Warnecke. It took years before that fight was straightened out. Also in 1900, he bought a chaffcutter that you had to work by hand. Together with his neighbor Rüter he bought a winchthresher. With this machine they were able to thresh two to three times more grain (rye) a day. The winchthresher was pulled by 4-6 cows. In 1906, the cows were replaced with an electric motor.
Note1902In 1902 he bought 9 1/2 morgen of farmland from Grages/Bock. In 1903 he bought 4 morgen of farmland from Ostermeyer. Heinrich increased his farm from 16 to 36 morgen. Eight morgen were pastureland. He also expanded the living quarters and built stables and a barn. In 1911 he turned over the responsibilities of the farm to his son Heinrich Adolf Friedrich Piepho.
