Lois Faye Lobb -- Austin

AUSTIN -- Lois Faye Lobb, 76, of Austin, died Sunday (Dec. 11, 2005) at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester. She had suffered a stroke.

Lois Faye Meyer was born Aug. 19, 1929, in Wells, Minn., and graduated from Freeborn High School in 1946. She married Edward Lobb on June 5, 1946, in Wells, and they resided in the Albert Lea area for a few years before moving to Austin. She worked at the Stardust Supper Club and Riviera Restaurant for many years and retired in 1991. In her retirement, she enjoyed crocheting and other crafts, decorating her yard with Christmas ornaments and trips to the casino with friends.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Dave (Julie Wood) of Mankato, Mike (Lori) of Albert Lea and Kevin of Austin; a daughter, Mary (Mark) Larson of Bricelyn, Minn.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Joan Besser of New Richland, Minn., Jean Bartness of Lake Wales, Fla., and Mary Thorson of Medford, Minn.; and a brother, Robert (Lorraine) of New Richland. She was preceded in death by a sister, three brothers, a grandson and a granddaughter.

There will be a visitation from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mayer Funeral Home in Austin, followed by a prayer service. Her body was donated to the Mayo Clinic Medical School.2
