There are problems with Andrew, because there are at least two Andrews from the same general area with the same children, but all being about 20 years in age off from each other. In the above will Daniel was exec., and witness were W. Thomas, James Scott and Robert Moffett. Andew names his children Daniel, Andrew, Nicholas, Joseph, Mary, Rebecca, Elizabeth, John. Wit; W. Thomas, James Scott, and Robert Moffett. Will dated 23 Apr 1794

2. Andrew Cornelius, son of Daniel Cornelius-1 and Elizabeth Cornelius, born c1726 and died cFebruary 1796 in Queen Anne County, Maryland. Around 1757 he married Elizabeth who was born c1736.

Andrew Cornelius died leaving a will dated 23 April 1794, probated 8 February 1796. He named his children:

WILL OF ANDREW CORNELIUS
February 8, 1796

In the name of God, amen, I, ANDREW CORNELIUS, of Queen Annes County, in the State of Maryland, do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following.

First, I give and devise to my son, DANIEL CORNELIUS, and to his heirs of his body lawfully to be gotten all these parts of two tracts of land lying and being in Queen Annes County and State aforesaid, upon which I now live, the one called Comegys Reserve, the other Gunthers Lot, except the part of Comegys Reserve which is hereafter devised by me to my son ANDREW CORNELIUS, and in case of my said son DANIEL shall die without lawful heirs of his body, then I give and devise the said part of Comegys Reserve and Gunthers Lot to my said son DANIEL, to my son NICHOLAS CORNELIUS, and to his heirs forever.

I give and devise to my son ANDREW CORNELIUS and to his heirs of his body lawfully to be gotten, that part of a tract of land called the (following word hard to make out, appears to be Pearl) lying and being in Queen Annes County and State aforesaid containing one hundred acres of land, more or less, and also fifty acres of my aforesaid tract of this tract of land called Comegys Reserve being the part except in the above devise to my son DANIEL, to be laid off for my son, as to include the north end of that part of the ___ now held by me and adjoining the one hundred acres of land called 'the Pearl'(?), hereby devised to him and in case my said son dies without lawful ___ of his body, then I give and devise the said part of a tract of land called the Pearl(?) and also that part of Comegys Reserve to my said son ANDREW, to my son JOSEPH CORNELIUS and to his heirs forever.

Item, I give and bequeath to my son ANDREW CORNELIUS, two Negroes, one called ___ the other called Robert, to him and his heirs and assigns forever.

Item, I give and bequeath to my son DANIEL CORNELIUS, to his heirs and assigns, one Negro boy called James and one Negro girl called Margaret.

Item, I give and bequeath to my son JOSEPH CORNELIUS, to his heirs and assigns, one Negro girl called Rachael and two Negro children, the one called Temperance, the other called William.

Item, I give and bequeath to my daughter MARY CORNELIUS, to her heirs and assigns, one Negro boy called Richard.

Item, I give and bequeath to my daughter REBECCA CORNELIUS, to her heirs and assigns, one Negro girl called Esther.

Item, I give and the remainder and residue of my personal estate not herein before particularly devised and bequeathed to my sons, JOHN, DANIEL, NICHOLAS, ANDREW, and JOSEPH, to my daughters MARY, REBECCA and ELIZABETH to be equally divided between them.

Lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my said son DANIEL CORNELIUS to be sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any will or wills by me hereto made and executed.
