Funeral services for Herbert C. Piepho of 2004 N.W. 4th St. age 59, who passed away at the Rice County District One Hospital on Nov. 21, following an extended illness were held Saturday, Nov. 24, at the St. Luke's United Church of Christ with the Rev. Kenneth H. Worthman officiating. A family service was held at the Boldt Funeral Home. Mrs. Gene Severson was the organist, and accompanied Mr. Ervin Boelke as he sang, "Softly and Tenderly", and "The Old Rugged Cross." Pallbearers were Herbert Achilles, Helmer Albrecht, Lee Fullerton, Edgar Gudknecht, Rudolph Klemp and A. M. Lips. Interment was in the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault. Herbert C. Piepho was born May 28, 1903, the son of Henry and Mary Rehmann Piepho at Bertha, (Todd County) Minn. He was married to Esther Bittrich on Nov. 10, 1926 at Faribault. Herbert Piepho was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ and was employed at the Peterson Art Furniture Factory and then at the Foldcraft Company in Faribault. Besides his widow, Esther, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Gustav Bauman (Mabel) of Faribault, nieces, a nephew and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents. Relatives and friends from away who attended the funeral were from Lester Prairie, Waseca, Morristown, Albert Lea, Waterville and Glencoe.3

ObituaryObituary: The obituary for Agnes was recorded. OWATONNA -- Agnes Rehman, 96, of Owatonna, Minnesota, died Monday, July 4, 2005 at Cedarview Nursing Home.

She was born July 3, 1909, in Alpha, Minn., the daughter of Otto and Emma (Boeldt) Musegades. Agnes married Melvin Rehman on Aug. 28, 1930, at her home in Faribault, Minn. She and Melvin farmed in Medford and Claremont until 1954 when they retired from farming. Agnes was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church for 47 years where she was an active volunteer and a member of the Ladies Aid. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, doing drawnwork, playing cards and visiting people at Cedarview Nursing Home. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She was a loving person who was devoted to her family.

Agnes is survived by her son, Roger and Diane Rehman of Owatonna; her daughters, Ruby and Don Gray of Claremont, Minn., Beverly and Bill Rogers of Orange, Calif., and Darlene and Curt Russell of New Richland, Minn.; her sister, Isabella Moeckley of Faribault, Minn.; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Fern Musegades of Faribault, Minn., and Dorothy Mae Musegades of Blooming Prairie, Minn.; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; and her brothers, Vic, Jack, Elmer, Mill, Herb and Shorty Musegades.

Visitation will be held at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Thursday at Redeemer Lutheran Church from 1 to 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 7, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Owatonna. The Rev. Kirk Griebel of Redeemer Lutheran Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Meadow Ridge Cemetery in Faribault. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to The Lutheran Hour or Homestead Hospice.2
