Jeanetta Joyce Weeks passed away peacefully on September 12th, 2016 in Oklahoma City, OK with her beloved family by her side.

Jeanetta was born on May 9, 1939 to Gilbert Branch and Opal (Blackburn) Branch in Comanche, OK. She attended NW Classen High School, and completed her GED in 1978.

She married Cecil Coy Weeks at the Capitol Hill Church of Christ on July 4th, 1957.

She was a faithful member of the 21st Church of Christ congregation for most of her life. She had been baptized at the 7th Street Church of Christ in her early teenage years. Her love of God was very evident in her life, and she worked diligently in service to Him, and in raising her family to love Him also.

She was preceded in passing by her parents, Gilbert and Opal Branch; brother Thestain Branch; and brother Sam Branch.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Cecil Coy Weeks, her sister June Orten, sister-in-law, Khleber Branch, and her three daughters, Tonya Lynette Nichols and husband Lonnie, Sherri Kyla Stipes and husband Richard, Brenda Kay Parrish and husband Pat. Her five grandchildren, Bradley Stipes, Lauren Timmons and husband Caleb, Hayleigh Bowen and husband Cody, Derek Nichols and wife Elizabeth, and Zachary Weeks.

She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; Carson, Jackson, Hadelyn, Lyla, Cyrus and Ruger.

Arrangements under the direction of Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, OK.1
