Delores was born January 20, 1930, in Jefferson County, Neb., to Walter and Emma (Renzelmann) Buchmeier. She was baptized in 1943 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairbury. She graduated from Fairbury High School in 1947 and had been employed by Hested Stores and lived on the family farm until she was married. On August 12, 1951, she was united in marriage to James K. Lowe of Mahaska, Kan., at the Methodist Church in Fairbury. While her husband was enlisted in the Air Force the couple lived in Ralston and moved to Parkville, Mo. In 1960 they moved to Lincoln where the family were members of Trinity United Methodist Church. Delores was a part time employee of the Nebraska Council of School Administration and Avon Sales for many years. After her children were grown she joined the LWMGA and served as secretary for the association 1994-1995 and loved golf. She also was a member of the Old Cheney Home Owners board of directors for four years. She loved sewing, gardening, bowling, genealogy and cooking for her family. Delores was the dear wife of 56 years to Jim Lowe who died in 2007; loving mother of Karen Rowe (Rick Carney), Kathleen and Bobbie Kitchen, Nancy Niemeyer (Dave Pedersen) and Daniel Lowe (Kelley Jones). She had seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother-in-law, Doyle Lowe of Lincoln, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Darrell Buchmeier, sister-in-law Marge Schoen, sister Donna Cook, brother-in-law Joseph Cook, sister-in-law Darlene Lowe, son-in-law Michael Niemeyer and grandson Jordan Niemeyer. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, January 9, at Butheras, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 40th & A Streets. Burial following service at Lincoln Memorial Park. Reception following burial. Memorials to the family.²

The lad had accompanied his father to do the chores and in passing back of a colt was struck over the eye by the animals heels. After several days in hospital infection set and died.¹

Rose Marie Wegman Buck Gorz, 62, of Fort Dodge, died Monday, October 29, 2007 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2007 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Reverend Al Henderson of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiating. Rose was born October 23, 1945 the daughter of Walter and Betty (Henry) Wegman in Everett, Washington. She was later adopted by Ida and John Buck. Over the years Rose has spent time in Everett, WA, Hesperia, CA, and the last 38 years in Fort Dodge, IA. She was currently employed at Smithway Motor Express as a bookkeeper. Rose was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed everything nature had to offer. She was a hard working individual with everyone else's needs in mind. Rose loved working on different arts and crafts projects, going horse back riding and spending time with her family. Those thankful for having shared in Rose's life include her children; Pamela Jean Schossow of Fort Dodge, IA, Julie Ann Wright of Conway, AR, Jerri Lynn Tipton of Jackson, MS, Edward John Schossow of Mesa, AZ, Dawn Marie Reyes of Fort Dodge, IA, five sisters; Helen Ibsen of Fort Dodge, IA, Florence Barnett of Fort Dodge, IA, Sharon Plumb of Perry, IA, Rhoda Batey of Everett, WA, Linda Wegman of Everett, IA, one brother; Gerald Helmer of Colorado Springs, CO, 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Mrs. Gorz was preceded in death by her parents, Ida and John Buck, Betty and Walter Wegman, three sisters; Ruth, Elaine and Marlene.¹

Public visitation will take place from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, December 14, 2020 at the Jurrens Funeral Home Andringa Chapel in Ocheyedan, Iowa. Due to Covid-19 restrictions the Rueter family will not be present. A private graveside service will take place Tuesday, December 15, 2020 with Reverend Richard Milbrandt officiating at the Ocheyedan Township Cemetery. The family prefers memorials directed to the American Cancer Society. Jurrens Funeral Home of Ocheyedan is in charge of arrangements. Mary Christine Budden was born March 31, 1925 to Frederick and Mary (Jodon) Budden in Manhatten, Kansas. She attended school in Manhatten and graduated. After high school she attended Kansas State University and earned a BS in Home Economics. She was also a member of Kappa Phi. Christine was united in marriage to Kenneth A. Rueter on February 10, 1947 at the United Methodist Church in Manhatten, Kansas. They lived on the farm North of Ocheyedan and attended Zion Lutheran Church in Horton Township. Kenneth passed away in February of 1994. She was a member of Dorcus Society at Zion and the family transferred to St. Peter Lutheran Church in 1961. She joined the LWMS and held several offices. Christine was a member of the choir and Alter Guild, a Sunday School teacher, she enjoyed card club, and was a library volunteer. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed wood carving, cake decorating, reading, knitting, crocheting, crafts, computer, and genealogy. Christine worked hard to earn enough credits to become a Home Economics teacher at Melvin School from 1963 to 1966. She worked very hard to take care of her family. She did a great job, and she will be missed very much. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Leon (Ruth) Rueter of Shakopee, MN, Cheryl Rueter of Ocheyedan, IA, Terry Dias of Canton, CT, Neal Rueter of Ocheyedan, IA; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many extended relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Mary Budden; husband Kenneth; brother, Frederick Budden Jr.; son, Ryan A. Rueter; and grandson, Michael T. Monkemeier. O⁴
