Her funeral will be held 11 a.m. Saturday March 14, 2009, at the Lamb Funeral Home in Gibson City. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and for one hour before the services on Saturday.

Connie was born Jan. 25, 1941, in Guthrie, a daughter of Charles E. and Eileen J. (Brokate) Schutte. She married Richard Jamison on July 3, 1958, in Elliott. He survives in Ellsworth.

Also surviving are two sons, Tim (Linda) Jamison of Shirley and Steve (Mary) Jamison of Bloomington; two daughters, Annette (Paul) Rutledge of Ellsworth and Melody Jamison of Bloomington; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Zachary, Rhett, Ryan, Allyson, Megan, McKenzie and Nick; and four sisters, Mary (Corky) Myers of Elliott, Lanora (Mike) Riggle of Leesburg, Fla., Sandy Edmonds of Gibson City and Linda Schutte of Naples, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Connie lived in Ellsworth since 1962. She received her CNA degree from Richland Community College. She worked at the Gibson Area Hospital Annex for over 10 years. She was named employee of the month in August of 2005. She enjoyed working with elderly people and felt they had a lot to offer.

She also enjoyed bowling, knitting, flower gardening, cooking, playing "spider solitaire" and listening to bluegrass music. She took great pride in her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial tributes may be made to BroMenn Hospice, American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.2

The funeral of Thomas H Jamison, 48, of rural Bellflower will be at 10:30 am Wednesday at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City.
The Rev. John McIntosh will officiate. Burial will be in Drummer Township Cemetery, Gibson City.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
He was born Aug. 26, 1941 in Elliott, a son of Leslie and Mildred Brandt Jamison.
He died at 3:50 pm Friday (July 20, 1990) at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, of a stroke.
Surviving are two sons, Matthew and Dusten, both of Gibson City; one daughter, Melissa, Gibson City; a stepdaughter, Brandy Pettit, Gibson City; two brothers, Richard, Ellsworth, and Larry, Gibson City; and his parents, Elliott.
Mr. Jamison had been a resident of rural Bellflower for 18 years. He was a member of United Methodist Church of Bellflower, Elliott AMVETS and United Rubber Workers Local 713. He was a US Army veteran.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.1
