Obituary | 6 November 2008 | Obituary: The obituary for Joyce was recorded on 6 November 2008. [from Faribault Daily News - 6 Nov 2008] Joyce M. Piepho 1932-2008 FARIBAULT ? Joyce M. Piepho, age 76, of Faribault, died suddenly on Nov. 4, 2008, at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church at Sacred Heart, with the Rev. Kevin Finnegan officiating. Interment will be at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault. Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday for one hour prior to services. The Rosary will be recited on Friday evening at 6 p.m. Joyce Marie Pumper, the daughter of Emil and Josephine (Sticha) Pumper, was born on July 16, 1932, in Faribault. She attended Bethlehem Academy and graduated with class of 1950. Joyce was united in marriage to Ralph Piepho on Aug. 27, 1955, at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Faribault. Joyce worked as a teller at the State Bank in Faribault, and also as a secretary for the Ostrom Agency in Faribault for many years. Joyce enjoyed dancing, reading and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Prayer was very important to Joyce and when she was able she was very involved with the church, singing in the choir, being a lector and was a Befriender Minister for the parish. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Piepho of Faribault, Minn.; by six children, Randy (Diane) Piepho of Faribault, Minn., Lori Lee of Owatonna, Minn., Karen Piepho and Laurie Novitsky of Spring Lake Park, Minn., Gary (Candace) Piepho, Pamela (Randy) Bisping of Faribault, Minn., and Scott (Keri) Piepho of Warsaw, Minn.; by 13 grandchildren, Ryan, Chelsea and Matt Bisping, Brittani and Maddie Piepho, Todd Piepho, Stevie and Mitchell Piepho and Mandy, Jody, Becky, Vicki and Ben Lee; by one great-grandson, Carson Cramer; by a brother, Richard (Theresa) Pumper of Albert Lea, Minn.; and other relatives and friends.
