Born June 28, 1921 in Mattoon, Ill., she was the daughter of George Augustus and Clara Anna (Blick) Scutt. On June 15, 1946 in Columbus, she married Harold Meredith Vanosdol. She was a homemaker and loved to cook. She attended the Central Wesleyan Church and was currently serving as the president of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union (WCTU). She had lived in Greene County for several years. Survivors include: her husband Harold Vanosdol; a daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Duane Koenemann of Monroeville; a grandson Darin D. Koenemann of Fort Wayne; a brother Marion A Scutt of Stanford; and a sister Virginia H. Scutt-Davis of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, George Scutt, Jr., Russell Scutt, and Morris E. Scutt. Funeral service was at Day Funeral Home, Bloomington, with the Rev. Andy Hughes officiating. Burial was in Valhalla Memory Gardens. The family suggests to friends who wish that memorial contributions may be given to the WCTU or to the charity of one's choice.²
