I am the great-granddaughter of Emma Marie Bremer Knick. I have several photos of her including her wedding photograph. My mother was very close to her grandmother and I was raised in the same town, Britton, Oklahoma. I spent time at her home and have a lot of personal information about her. I set up her memorial on Findagrave. Her mother and father both died before I was born. I do have a photo of her mother.
Your name is familiar to me so I am assuming we have communicated in the past.
I found this site because a Giga Alert search set up for Johan Bremer.

I was just searching the internet for my German grandparents' ancestry and there it is! I have all some misinformation but since I'm third generation, I'm sure facts are stated differently through the years. My father passed on in 2005. It all comes back to me: names, dates, photos. It's been a while since we corresponded. I am happy to see that some of the old Russel, Hitzemann, and Claus family photos I submitted made it on to your website. Your work is quite astounding and you should be quite proud of the website. It always nice to here from cousins, no matter how distant.

Because of a death in our Laseke family this week I was looking on the internet and Google brought up this genealogy info. I am also working on our (Laseke) family genealogy--started by my father-in-law in the 1960s. It looks like we would have several connections.

Please share any special sources we might find useful. We did have contact with a Laseke relative in (East) Germany a few years ago.
