He is survived by : his wife Luella Pedley of Ocheyedan; his children, Cynthia Range (Greg) of Omaha, NE, Arlyn Pedley (Jan) of Ocheyedan, Lylah Kreis (George Ruegg) of Roanoke, TX and Judy Bonnstetter (Harlan) of Bondurant, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Gehl of Fulda, MN and Delores Rosenbrook of Lakeville, MN. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 5th 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home - Andringa Funeral Chapel (855 Main St, Ocheyedan, IA 51354). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 6th 2021 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1303 County Road L).6
