Comments: Hi. I have enjoyed browsing your site. I was searching for information on my relative Florence Heimbecker Mortenson and found your interesting information.
I noted with interest two wedding dates for Florence and Norman Theodore Mortenson.
I found your Scandinavian family history more interesting than my own!
Thanks for making this family history available . . .

Comments: Loved your site. I am from the Detlef Leckband Family tree. Not quite sure how Detlef connects to Bremer, but he would have been my great-great grandfather. Emil my great grandfather. You only have two of Emil's nine children, Arthur Wilhem Leckband (b. 1897 d. 1986) was another of his sons and my grandfather. My father was Delbert Wayne Leckband (b. 1927 d. 2006). If you are interested I can give you more on Delbert and Arthur and a little on Emil. But, thanks for what you have.

Comments: Hello, Was quite surprised to see family members listed on your site while looking up family obits. My grandparents are Patrick Dunlap and Ethel Minnie Cornelius. You also have my mother Ethel Cornelius , her first husband Ellis Gerald Decker and two of my brothers Michael Edward and Guy Albert Decker listed. My mother had 6 more children so i am assuming your information has been gathered from death records. You have an amazing site with many cornelius members i was not familiar with. Thanks for sharing
Comments: This is awesome!! My grandma was Evelyn Hartwig, and I was trying to find out some things about her side and this is great! You have done alot of work and I cant thank you enough. Are we related??

Comments: I am a descendent of Hans Christian Harmening. He was a Lutheran pastor and served in IL and MO. He was my great-great grandfather. His daughter, Bertha, married into the Wentzel family who started farming in Carroll county Iowa and then moved to S.Branch, MN. I greatly enjoy this research. Thanks.

Comments: George and Virgie Piepho were my great-grandparents. I am the grand-daughter of Florence Farmer who was Vergie Wickershams daughter. My grandmothers father Joseph Elmer Wickersham died the same year my grandmother was born - Growing up as a little girl I always knew them as my great grandparents and my mother Barbara Dunn, Daughter of Florence and Henry Farmer, has always told wonderful stories from her childhood of her trips there. Not really a "blood relative" of great grandfather Piepho but he will always be great grandfather Piepho to me.
