This is sooo exciting! I've recently been inspired to research my Meier history, beyond our loved Meier Family Cook Book; if you're not familiar with it, it not only holds history in its recipes, but also outlines our family tree starting with John Meier (1838-1893), married to Engel Hesse (1849-1926). My Great Grandfather is Carl Meier (1889), married to Alma Schafer (1895). I noticed that your coverage of my family ended with Eldo Meier (1918). My Grandfather, Alvin Meier (1920), was the next child born, and five children after him. I guess it matters enough to post, because shortly thereafter comes ME!!!! I'm exhilarated with joy that I have the opportunity to begin my own genealogical research with such ease and prior expertise!!!
