Birth | 20 February 1927 | Birth: Donald Calvin Wilcox was born on 20 February 1927 in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon, United StatesB. Florence Wilcox, wife of Richard says that Guy & Rose Wilcox moved in late 1923 to Oregon, however we found a birth record for "boy Wilcox" in Sioux City on 20 Feb 1927. To confuse things, the California Death Index for Donald Calvin Wilcox says he was born in Oregon. The 1930 Census of Multnomah Co, OR shows a Donald C Wilcox, age 3 1/12 born in Oregon, the older brothers all born in Iowa. My conclusion now is that he was born in Oregon, not Iowa. I don't know what the Iowa entry is, unless it was for Paul Richard (#3)1,2 |
