Results of PET scan - Friday, January 8, 2016
On Tuesday (1/5/16) I had a routine PET scan as a follow-up. Met with Dr L today to get the results. He said everything looked great except for one item – he said I had a ‘hot’ spot in my colon. This spot was not there on my last scan in July. He said PET scans are known to give false positives and there was a 95% chance that’s what this is, but just to make sure he is going to schedule a colonoscopy. Cheers! Guess I’d rather be inconvenienced for a day than sorry for the rest of my life.
