Results of Colonoscopy - Wednesday, March 16, 2016
I had the Colonoscopy on Feb 9th. The GI Dr. indicated that everything looked good, but did take a couple of small snipes to send off. The results came back negative.
More testing - Thursday, March 17, 2016
Dr. L’s office called today and said that Dr. L wanted me to have a CT Scan. First I had heard of this, but I suspect he is still trying to very the ‘False Positive’ from the PET Scan back in January.
At any rate I’ve set it up for Tuesday March 20th. Won’t know the results until my next meeting with him on April 8th.
Port scheduled for removal - Tuesday, March 22, 2016
Dr. L’s office called again today. Back in January I asked to have my port removed ASAP because it has been malfunctioning frequently (can put chemo in but can not get blood out, frequently) and he agreed if all tests were negative. When his office called on March 17th for the CT Scan, I asked them to remind him of that. As I had the CT Scan yesterday, it is certainly possible that he has gotten the results already and it shows no problem – therefore (in my hopeful mind) we can take the port out.
So, the port is scheduled to come out on Friday, April 1st. No fooling!
