Mantle Cell Lymphoma in remission a little over 5 1/2 years - Thursday, April 16, 2026

As of yesterday, I've had 43 CT Scans and 11 PET Scans. Yesterday I had my 11 PET Scan. About 18 months ago I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. Yes, I know most older men get Prostate Cancer and die with it, not from it. 18 months ago they did a biopsy and it was rated a 3+4=7 on the Gleason scale and PSA was an 18. Recently my PSA was checked and it was a 19.1. (Normal is no greater than 4). So, they decided to do another biopsy and this time it came back a 4+3=7 on the Gleason scale. To me, 7 is 7 and there was no change, but to the doctors it meant that my cancer was advancing faster than 'die with it', so they scheduled a PET scan to see if it had spread to other organs, and to figure out what they can do to stop it. Guess I'll find out in a few days.

This fall will be 20 years since I was first diagnosed with cancer. I'm grateful for thos 20 years and I give the Lord thanks for each day.
